Fattoria di Sammontana – Chianti 0,75L 2022

This classic bottle from the 2022 vintage is young, fresh and lively, with a light to medium body and a character that reflects the traditional style of the estate.
Elegant and well-balanced, this Chianti offers vibrant aromas of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries, complemented by light floral notes like violets and roses. Spicy undertones of thyme, oregano and black pepper add depth and complexity, while subtle earthy hints, from leather to tobacco, reflect the richness of Tuscan soils.

The palate shows a refined balance between fruit, acidity and tannins, with lively freshness that enhances its drinkability and makes it a versatile food wine.

Region: Tuscany, Italy.
Grapes: Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo 10%. 
Vines: 15-40 years old.
Vinification: Maceration and slow spontaneous fermentation on its own yeasts in glazed cement tanks with regular pump overs and punch downs. Aged in steel and concrete vats, the wine is bottled without filtration.
