Fattoria di Sammontana – Prunecchio 2023

A balanced blend of three grape varieties from Tuscany, offering a seductive aroma with fresh citrus notes of lime and grapefruit (Sauvignon), softer fruit tones of peach and white flowers (Trebbiano), and tropical, spicy accents (Malvasia). The taste is characterised by the lively acidity of Sauvignon for freshness, a balanced mix of citrus and stone fruits, with a hint of exotic fruit, and a soft, mild spiciness from Malvasia for flavour complexity. The mouthfeel is round and silky thanks to Trebbiano, with a good balance between freshness and softness, a medium body and a lingering finish with refreshing citrus notes and subtle minerality. The wine is elegant and balanced, suitable for lovers of both fresh, lively white wines and wines with more body and complexity.
